Welcome horse enthusiasts to the home of the Arabian Racing Association of Minnesota

ABOUT US - Our organization was founded for the purpose of promoting and developing the Arabian race horse industry in the State of Minnesota. Many people are surprised to learn that the Arabian can race. The Arabian horse is not only suited for endurance and show, but any number of athletic activities, including racing. Just like Thoroughbreds, Arabians only race against members of their own breed. Many tracks around the country hold races for Arabians, even though this breed is not yet as popular as others. Minnesota and the surrounding region sits on a fantastic opportunity to bring Arabian horse racing to the area. There are many quality Arabian breeders. The horses are here. Now we need the interest.

ARAM has, in the past, sponsored stake races in mid-summer. Currently ARAM is not sponsoring an annual racing event at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. However, Arabian racing can still be enjoyed at Canterbury Park via simulcast of other race tracks that have regular Arabian racing meets.
